Educational Learning Support
Our focus is on literacy and numeracy learning progression. We provide Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) aligned curriculum lessons, Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs), therapy integration, work readiness/life skills, transitional to adult (T2A) programs.

Community Learning Access
We assist you in (re)connecting and becoming active in your community. Our flexible and tailored approach builds confidence in achieving your goals through supported excursions to workplaces, TAFE, libraries, or social settings.

Counselling and Mental Health Support
Our health professionals will connect you with expert support. We utilise culturally-informed and strength-focused approaches to improve mental health and wellbeing.

We deliver services and supports to people who have their plan managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), as well as those who self-manage or use a third party.

Dr David Lakisa
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dr Lakisa is an organisational leadership specialist. He has a PhD is diversity management (UTS), Masters degree (SCU) and Bachelor of Education (QUT). He brings strong strategic leadership and management capabilities having worked across various industry sectors such as health, education, community, international development, and government to name a few

Faye Lakisa
CLINICAL CARE MANAGER
Faye is a registered nurse (RN) with Queensland Health. She possesses a strong understanding of patient care, ethical competence and nursing practice. She completed a Bachelor of Nursing at Charles Darwin University (CDU) and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience shaped by over 20 years engaged in community service programs and professional experience working with and caring for children, youth and seniors.

Darren Singh
PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Darren Singh is a practicing psychotherapist. He has a proven work history of clinical intervention working to prevent youth incarceration and children entering Out Of Home Care. Darren draws upon therapeutic approaches to high level addictions, serious offenders, violence and youth crime, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, parents, families and communities i.e. Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO), Youth Justice and Child Protection.

Wayne Lakisa
EDUCATION MANAGER
Wayne is an ‘experienced senior teacher’ and learning and development specialist. He has completed a Bachelor of Education (secondary) from Griffith University and a Graduate Certificate in Middle School Mathematics from the Australian Catholic University (ACU). He has been an employee of Education Queensland for the past 24 years and possesses vast experience in working in programs funded by The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety programs. He has worked at various schools across Queensland namely, Sarina State High School, Marsden State High School, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Barrett Adolescent and Brisbane Youth Education Training Centre, to name a few.
